Located in Whitesboro, Rancho Sereno offers a relaxed North Texas wine tasting experience surrounded by vineyard views and the character of a working ranch. Join us to taste handcrafted Texas wines, enjoy a flatbread pizza, and discover the story behind the Vineyards at Rancho Sereno.
Whether you are visiting from Sherman, Denison, Gainesville, the Lake Texoma area, or elsewhere in North Texas, we invite you to pull up a chair and pour a glass.
Wine Tasting at Rancho Sereno
Our $15 wine tasting includes three 2-ounce pours of any wines currently available in the tasting room. Because our selection may change with new vintages and releases, every visit offers another opportunity to discover something different.
We recommend allowing at least one hour for your tasting. Most guests stay for approximately an hour and a half so they can enjoy the wines, vineyard views, food, and relaxed ranch setting without feeling rushed.
Enjoy a Flatbread Pizza
Make yourself comfortable and stay awhile with one of our flatbread pizzas. Current options include:

- Supreme
Availability may vary, so please ask about the current food menu when you arrive.
Reservations and Walk-Ins
Reservations are always recommended, especially for weekend visits.
Walk-ins are welcome for smaller parties, while reservations are required for groups of more than six. During August, all visits are by reservation only due to harvest activities at the vineyard.
Vineyard Hours
Rancho Sereno is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- September through June: 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- July: 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- August: By reservation only due to harvest.
- Thanksgiving and Christmas: Closed.

Rooted in the Red River Valley
Looking out across the Vineyards at Rancho Sereno, you cannot help but picture what the land looked like years ago. Fertile Red River Valley soil was spotted with golden hickories and sturdy oaks, blessed by a climate that encouraged growth.
The land became a family homestead dedicated to breeding performance horses and cultivating quality vinifera grapes, all with pride, dedication, and honor.
The work of the ranch is rooted deep in the Texoma terroir. The resulting fruit embodies the character of Texas: bold, brave, full of spirit, hardworking, layered, and balanced. These are handcrafted wines with a story to tell.
Maybe part true and maybe part tall tale, but all parts Texan.
